The short span of the book belied the depth of the topics Tamara Ferguson covered. She showed how romance could bloom even under the most unlikely circumstances. Destiny kept bringing Jeremy and Christine together despite their reluctance to accept their true feelings. I desperately wanted them to clear the confusion and hesitancy between them once and for all. While the plot was predictable in an agreeable way, the romance was neither cheesy nor steamy, leaving a sweet aftertaste when I finished the book. Ferguson laced the narrative with a dash of humor, adding to the charm. Jeremy’s awkward proposal made me laugh indulgently at this sweet romantic who was unable to put his desires into words. On the more serious side, Ferguson portrayed a realistic picture of gender discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace. Thankfully, she also gave us a strong female lead who could fight both. Two Hearts’ Alliance is a perfect read for those looking for sweet and short romance stories.

A couple that goes to war together triumphs together. Two Hearts’ Alliance by Tamara Ferguson is the fifteenth installment of the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. I love military romance and enjoy seeing the vulnerable sides of our hardcore servicemen. They also have a life, and love finds us, even in the most dangerous zones. I loved the plot, development, and storyline. Christine and Jeremy were also a delight to read about because their lives had many facets. I saw how marriage could prove to be a setback if unchecked, and how spouses could plot one’s downfall, and they’d be none the wiser. Major Brian was also a case study of bosses who sexually exploited their subordinates in the workplace. I couldn’t stand the Major because he was manipulative, misogynistic, and delusional. This novel was another fantastic delivery, and I’m moving on to book sixteen!
