Travel with Number 10: New York, Boston, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. by Ronit Tal Shaltiel is the third book in the series, The Adventures of the Numbers. Numbers 1 to 9 and Number 10 traveled together and when they reached New York, Number 10 liked the place and decided to stay there to get acquainted with the local history of the area. Number 10 visited Central Park in Manhattan, took a boat ride on the Hudson River, visited Lyndhurst Mansion, and the friendly dog he met there gave him some information about the place. Number 10 took a tour bus to Niagara Falls and from there he went to Boston. Number 10 got to know the local history of the places he visited during his time there.

This is an informative and educational book that will give young readers details about the local history of New York, Boston, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. I like the way the author has tackled the topic of sightseeing and that is what makes the book a must-read. She takes young readers to important places in America in a fun and interactive way, and giving Number 10 a personality makes the book whimsical. The illustrations are charming and they make the sightseeing trip tangible to young readers. The fun facts shared in the story are informative and I like how the author blends the combination of Math and learning about the local history of America. Ronit brings them together deftly, making learning fun and interesting to children. It is definitely a good book for tutors and parents to help children enjoy Math and encourage traveling by speaking about the local history and fun facts of different places.
