Harold, a scientist on the hunt for Bigfoot, has gone missing in the forests of northwest Washington State. Task Force Agent Hunter, accompanied by Cat Whisker Margaux Martell, has been dispatched to find him, not realizing the dangers awaiting them on their search. While Hunter has a history with Harold, she is skeptical about the belief in Bigfoot. She just wants to find her old friend. Hunter has keen tracking and hunting abilities to find anybody and Whisker Margaux, well, her abilities are a bit supernatural, but an asset to their unlikely team. Their boss thought the pair would make a great team, and they will soon discover why. While searching for Harold, they realize that they are being followed, but who is their elusive stalker and what does he want with them?
Jack Gannon and Cyndi Williams-Barnier's Trail of the Hunter: A Task Force Novel Series is a fast-paced story full of action and suspense. While brief, the authors quickly jump into the plot of the story with the agents getting acquainted and heading out undercover to find the missing scientist. Gannon and Williams-Barnier also took great care to give some history and backstory on the main characters so that readers could connect to both the characters and the plot. It is a story full of fantastic characters, twists, turns, and an unsuspected ending. Jack Gannon and Cyndi Williams-Barnier's Trail of the Hunter is sure to knock your socks off and is a must-read for all those who enjoy action and adventure tales.
