The Wonderful World of Willow (Willow and CocoPops Book 1) by Rachel McGrath is the cute story of Willow the cat who lives in a wonderful world. She is six years old and is a pretty and playful cat. Willow's favorite food is chicken and she is always happy. She enjoys being outdoors, exploring the gardens, or playing by the water where there are lots of ducks and geese. Willow has lots of friends and she says hello to all the other animals who live by the canal. Willow stays indoors when it's cold. Willow's world is filled with adventures and she is happy and contented. This story takes readers on a delightful journey through the eyes of Willow.
The story teaches children many new words with the help of Willow. The illustrations are lively and they give the story good pace and movement. They also make the characters come alive. The book is good for bedtime story-telling and for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries. Willow will steal the hearts of children and the author cleverly teaches readers a lot of new things through Willow's eyes.
