The Way I See It: A Head-to-Toe Guide to Common Orthopaedic Conditions by Thomas Neviaser is a non-fiction medical book that is meant to serve as a self-help and general information guide. In this book, Thomas basically writes about various orthopaedic conditions, especially the ones that are the most commonly occurring among people. The book is simply organized into several chapters, each one focusing on one specific area of the bone or body and discussing potential bone problems such as the neck, shoulders, head, the collar bone, the elbow, wrist, and hand, fingers, pelvis and hip joints, the knee, foot fractures, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, common ways to treat these conditions, and the healing process, the nutrients and aging process in regards to bone health, etc. There is also a glossary at the end.
The Way I See It: A Head-to-Toe Guide to Common Orthopaedic Conditions by Thomas Neviaser is a good book for someone who wants to learn more about bone health and structure. Although Thomas has tried to write the book for the average, non-medical reader to understand, it inevitably gets technical at times due to the nature of the subject. Still, I found the actual X-rays and diagrams to be useful in understanding human anatomy a bit better through this book. Overall, Thomas has written a thorough synopsis of the most common orthopaedic conditions and readers interested in learning more would find it useful.
