The Unveiling: A Place Where Pain and Passion Collide, sub-titled Exposing Trauma and Embracing Love, is a book in which Julie D. Harper shares a life sustained by her faith in God so that readers can draw inspiration from her story and manage their traumas. The author does not hold back anything about what she has been through. Readers will learn about Julie's childhood, her two abortions, her marriage to David, the vicissitudes of her two daughters, as well as facing abuse, trauma, and judgment. She shares reflections, quotes, and information that may be useful to all those who have to face similar adversity.
The Unveiling: A Place Where Pain and Passion Collide is a book that reveals more than just a person's life. Julie D. Harper describes what happened to her in a way that encourages readers who are also suffering to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Whatever your problem, you will probably find a familiar situation in these pages because Harper has been spared nothing in terms of abuse, disease, and criticism. For this reason, she has so much to offer her readers. Considering everything she has experienced, her faith in God is a source of inspiration and a great example for others to follow. The quotes she has chosen can lift your spirits and I recommend this book to anyone experiencing difficult situations.
