The Undersea Art of Indonesia by Charles Rawlings, Leah Perez, and Nuswanto Lobbu takes readers into the fascinating and intoxicating world of Indonesian diving and captures environmental diversity not found anywhere else in the world. The reefs and the abundance of life will leave readers mesmerized by the magical underwater world of Indonesia. The book tells readers that Indonesia is the world's largest island country and since it is located between the Indian and the Pacific Oceans, it has tremendously diverse marine life. The authors and the photographer capture the beauty that makes diving in Indonesia an ecstatic experience for divers from all over the world. Let us join them on this memorable and visual dive into the exotic marine world of Indonesia and see the magic of marine life ourselves.

The photographs are a real treat and apart from revealing the underwater marine life that exists in Indonesia, it also shows the skills of the photographer because it is not that easy to get images with such clarity and precision. The Undersea Art of Indonesia by Charles Rawlings, Leah Perez, and Nuswanto Lobbu is a call to protect the ocean from overfishing, cyanide, and dynamite collecting for the aquarium trade to the actual dumping of raw sewage and garbage which threatens these unprotected underwater habitats. The images are great proof of Indonesia having something for every photographer, from night dives to shallow mucks to deeper reefs and to larger animals. The book is a great call to readers to become responsible for their decisions and actions so that the Indonesian marine life underwater is saved from destruction and extinction.
