Marc Zirogiannis holds a B.A. from Long Island University and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University’s School of Law. Mr. Zirogiannis is a world renowned Business Development Consultant and writer. He is a former adjunct professor of paralegal studies and business at Hofstra University. Mr. Zirogiannis is married to Soraya Rose and has four sons, Daniel, Demetrios, Joseph and Sebastian. His oldest son is a member of the United States Armed Forces, currently stationed in Germany Mr. Zirogiannis has practiced the martial arts for over 25 years and earned a 2nd Dan under the supervision of Grandmaster Yeon Hwan Park in Levittown, New York. He has been active in practicing and teaching meditation for 10 years. He has published numerous books, eBooks, and Audio Books an on a variety of subjects, and, is currently the lead correspondent for Tae Kwon Do Times, an international print publication. He lectures on a variety of topics, including business development, personal development, and matters of the martial arts. His last novella, Hitler’s Orphan: Demetri of Kalavryta, has won critical acclaim and been the subject of a radio program. It is currently in negotiations to become the basis of a more extensive work.

The Suffering of Innocents is a contemporary fiction novel written by Marc Zirogiannis. Laura and Sam Job have been happily married for over 25 years. They're both attorneys who have adjusted their schedules to accommodate their careers and the needs of their family. Sammy is now 16 years old and he's quite comfortable with coming home after school and doing his homework until the family gets in. The four-year-old twins, Jonah and Noah, are a different matter. Both parents share the responsibility for getting them dressed, fed, and off to the daycare center. Sam hadn't been too comfortable with the concept of them in daycare and had hoped the twins would get to stay home with their mother until kindergarten, but he appreciated the importance her career had for her, and the daycare experience has worked out well for the two boys. One day, when Sam picked up the twins, despite the fact that Sam checked for cars and traffic before pulling away from the curb, somehow the unthinkable happened.
Marc Zirogiannis' contemporary fiction novel, The Suffering of Innocents, is inspirational and moving. The Jobs' perfectly ordinary existence is tragically altered forever by an unforeseen accident, and Sam Job is left wondering why. The author's storytelling is masterful as he charts the long and tortuous road that the Jobs have to travel to find peace and gain some understanding of the tragedy that befell them. Zirogiannis touches on the impact that a loss can have on the survivors who, like Sammy, can be plagued with feelings of guilt for being alive or experiencing happiness. There's a lot to consider in this thought-provoking and well-written tale of loss and healing. The Suffering of Innocents is recommended reading.
