The Secret to the Secret by Aaron David Gottfried is a book about the book, The Secret. It sets out to explain why the well-known bestseller The Secret did not give people the results they hoped for. The Secret to the Secret is therefore a very important book on the practice of the law of attraction. It starts with a preface stating that the book doesn’t give self-help/new age philosophy or spiritual teaching. Instead, it gives an explanation of how manifestation works. After the preface, there is a total of 26 chapters.
Undoubtedly, the law of attraction is appealing since it is supposed to be able to achieve materialistic ends through spiritual means. Who doesn’t like to get grand results using only minimal effort? This is why The Secret to the Secret by Aaron Gottfried is an important book that explains how the law of attraction can work and why it doesn’t work. After the preface, the first chapter is The Secret Book, which discusses the problems with The Secret. This discussion shows that there are many problems with The Secret. Again, this is why The Secret to the Secret is such an important book.
Thereafter, the book discusses morals, honesty, and truth. Since these three topics are so important, the chapter headings are actually shown in capital letters. Apart from the first and these three chapters, there are still 22 chapters that show the extensive coverage of the book. Occasionally, Aaron Gottfried cites a quotation from a well-known author or philosopher, and it is shown in italics. I really like these quotations as they are nuggets of wisdom. For those who are interested in the law of attraction, this book is a must-read.
