In The Secret Life of Mother Mary, Marguerite Mary Rigoglioso gives us an illuminating yet heartwarming exploration of the true nature of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary was born from a long lineage of priestesses, who knew how to consciously conceive elevated beings to help the earth and its inhabitants. Religious texts and ancient traditions suggest that there were many Marys, indicating that any holder of the name Mary belonged to this priesthood. To take this point further, Mary's teaching and healing ministry continue to impact many in the world. This narrative therefore aims to show how Mary was more significant than she was portrayed in popular religious texts and our religious and spiritual history. Ultimately, this book serves as a guide to deepening one’s relationship with Mary, finding purpose in life, and acquiring Divine Feminine Wisdom.
In The Secret Life of Mother Mary, Marguerite Mary Rigoglioso takes us through the early days of Mary’s life and her mission which includes the birth and death of Jesus. I particularly enjoyed the historical aspects derived from the Bible, ancient texts, and the Gnostic writings. Rigoglioso's personal experiences and the three miracles she witnessed added a deeply personal connection to Mary’s divine mission. I appreciated her guidance on how to use the book, the reflective exercises at the end of each chapter, and the supportive community available to aid the reader on their healing and journey of rebirth. I would highly recommend this to seekers of spiritual insight and transformation, followers of Mary, and fans of ancient wisdom and Gnostic writings.
