George Warholak was born and raised in the New York Metropolitan area. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era, and he began writing while he was employed in the public sector. He makes his home in New Jersey, and he devotes himself to prison ministry and eradicating illiteracy. George has now turned to songwriting, and his first song, "This Song's Gonna Sing" can be heard on You Tube under PARAMOUNT SONG.

The Reprobate by George Warholak is the story of his life, a story that shows how God can take a messed up life and turn it around for His good. In Part One the author relates back to his growing up years, telling all about little episodes in his life: his first round of trying cigarettes, his first paper route job, his first taste of alcohol and a little bit of drugs and his courage to ask a girl out for his first date. After a stint in the service, he still wasn’t following God, but as he looks back he can see how God was with him in spite of the way he was. In Part Two Warholak writes about his life now as a Christian and how others can steer themselves away from the pitfalls that plague men.
This is quite an interesting book that I feel will not only help a new Christian but a seasoned Christian as well. One can find truth in the many little anecdotes throughout each chapter, from guarding one's tongue, to covetousness, to friendships, and much more. There is so much packed into this little book that it would be impossible to tell all about it. There are plenty of scripture references that coincide with what he writes. I would not call this a self help book but a book that will go straight to the heart and help you see where you go wrong many times even as a Christian.
