The Neighborhood Vampire by Christopher M. Mason follows Alice Primrose and her loving boyfriend Hugo Dodds as they settle into their new life together. Hugo is planning a huge surprise; however, with their new mysterious neighbors, the Savinos, his plans will have to be put on hold. Now Alice, Hugo, and their new broom Guinevere must uncover the nefarious plot of the Savino couple before it's too late.
The Neighborhood Vampire by Christopher M. Mason is a sweet and entertaining story about a witch and her boyfriend. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. Despite it being the second book, I instantly took a liking to both Alice and Hugo. Their characters were so lovable, and I was rooting for their happy ending to the end of the book. Mason did a wonderful job of creating these characters as well as the world they live in. I loved the addition of the witch’s broom, especially considering that they come with their own personalities. It was a fun little addition to the story that ties back to the traditional ideas of witches. Mason’s take on the supernatural world was really well done and I’m interested to see if any other supernatural creatures will be introduced into the series. Overall, The Neighborhood Vampire was a fantastic book and I enjoyed every second of it. I would highly recommend it to any supernatural fan or anyone who loves a good paranormal rom-com book.
