The Mysteries of Household Enemies and Wickedness by Henry Appiah-Korang Duodu explores the issue of household enemies extensively. Household enemies can be used to mean people who are within your circle who would like to do you harm. As the scriptures say, the heart of man is desperately wicked, and some will hate for no reason. Looking at the example of Jesus, he could not do mighty works in his hometown. Household enemies can make you useless and powerless because they see nothing good in you. It is also important for people to know that household enemies are difficult to detect, but if you are filled with the holy spirit, you can detect them. Some of the ways to deal with these household enemies include total submission of your life to Christ, consistent prayer, and reading more of God’s word.
The Mysteries of Household Enemies and Wickedness by Henry Appiah-Korang Duodu was a great read. It covers one of the most sensitive issues a follower of Christ can face, which is easily overlooked due to the relationships and trust we might have in such people, hence putting souls in danger. I loved the examples provided by Henry, which not only grounded the work in scriptures but was also effective in passing on the intended message. The reader will also appreciate the step-by-step guidelines provided, which I believe will go a long way in helping any reader turn their life around. The narration was also on point, which added to the overall beauty of this amazing work. This was an insightful read, and I look forward to reading something else by this talented author.
