The Multinational Takedown of America by Gary R. Patterson is not your run-of-the-mill political book; it is a daring work that examines America’s foreign policy under President Barack Obama, and how Obama has used that policy to foster his ambitions to become the next UN Secretary-General. In this compelling work, the author demonstrates how Obama’s administration has adopted a system of governance that strictly aligns with the UN core principles and values and how, by so doing, he has played down the United States' role as a leading country in world politics. Readers will get to know Obama’s political philosophy, which isn’t so obvious to the ordinary electorate, but which, when examined closely, unveils his hidden agenda and his aspirations to a prominent position in the UN. Such is the claim the author makes, but could he be right?
The title of this book felt so outlandish to me and I thought this would be another book with unfounded claims, but as one begins to read, one gets into a logic that combines facts with history to drive home a powerful point. In this book, readers are confronted with facts and historical references that may seem to corroborate the claim that Obama’s mandate has been a serious and meticulous preparation to take over as UN Secretary-General. Gary R. Patterson writes with unusual confidence and this could only result from the fact that he has done his homework and is very certain of the facts he shares with readers. Here is book that will have a special appeal to political science students, readers who are interested in current affairs, and politicians. The Multinational Takedown of America raises powerful questions and creates a portrait of Obama as a probable peacemaker in world’s politics. Could he be the next UN Secretary-General? That is left to history to answer, but this is a book that clearly demonstrates the author’s ability to read the signs of the time, a work of great depth and length, laced with powerful truths and observations. This book will change the way you look at contemporary politics.
