Through stunning writing, Kimberly Brock delivers rich and poetic prose that transports you into a lush historical reality that truly captures the power and mystery of the unknown. The writing style is used to deliver the power found within a woman's legacy left for her daughters. The details breathe life into Evertell through enchanting elements such as towering pecan trees and salty air, seasoned with a tone that creates nostalgia for the life Alice once had. The setting is rooted in a rich historical background to the mystery of the Lost Colony of Roanoke which is flawlessly woven into the legacy of Eleanor.
