The Kingdom of Dadria: The Blood of Wolves and War by N. J. Hanson is an epic, action-packed tale of betrayal, war, and love in which trust is replaced by uncertainty. It follows two tribes, the Hawks and Wolves, as their alliance is put to the test. Tala is accused of betrayal, and Shunka of the Wolf tribe is an already banished warrior because they both listened to a shaman's words. But now that the Princess Endelynn of House Rambourne, the only heir to the throne of Dadria, is gone, many want to find her, dead or alive. However, Shunka and Endelynn meet, and on their way to the White Mountain they will encounter many deadly beasts. Will they survive without being caught? Will the shaman's vision turn out to be true?
In this epic young adult fantasy, N. J. Hanson weaves a captivating story of a world plagued with uncertainty and threat, where everyone has their own agenda. The Kingdom of Dadria: The Blood of Wolves and War is a gorgeously written tale containing plenty of chaos, intrigue, suspense, and adventure. What I loved most about this enthralling fantasy novel is that it's so intricately plotted and that it contains interesting and dangerous characters who have so much potential. It also contains many well-written fight scenes between humans, wolves and restless spirits, blood-thirsty beasts. N. J. Hanson delivers an utterly spellbinding story that mainly focuses on action, which is often unexpected and revealing. I'm sure The Kingdom of Dadria: The Blood of Wolves and War will appeal to all fans of young adult fantasy.
