Catalina Reyes lost the love of her life fifteen years ago during a mission. Their son, Mateo, is kidnapped by his stepfather. Cat is on a mission to save her son and to start a new and better life. To succeed, she must become the assassin she used to be.
The Hemingway Deception was full of action. TJ O’Connor planned and executed an intriguing plot. It was a roller coaster ride of intrigue and deception. With all the twists, I never knew what to expect next. It was fast-paced, and I just kept turning the pages. I could not put it down; I was too afraid I would miss something. The twists and turns provided enough tension to keep the story interesting. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I read. The characters were excellently developed. They were authentic and relatable. Every character had a unique set of skills and personalities. It was brilliantly written and had my attention from the first page until the end. The ending fits after all the tension in the story.
