The Grumpy Caterpillar: A Wise Baby Book by Mark Schustrin is an adorable picture book for young children. One day, a caterpillar is feeling sad about himself. He thinks he is ugly and feels as if people don't like him very much. But the caterpillar couldn't be more wrong, and his friends know something he doesn't. The caterpillar continues to wallow in despair until finally, he falls asleep. When the caterpillar wakes in the morning, something huge has happened! He no longer feels sad or ugly, because now he is as beautiful as can be! Grab a copy of the book to find out what happened to him.
The Grumpy Caterpillar is a beautifully written book that young children are going to love. The story is heartwarming and fills you with positivity. Not only is this book entertaining, but it also teaches an important lesson that children will pick up on. It teaches self-love and acceptance, and how having good friends around you can make a big difference in how you are feeling about yourself. I love any book that educates children, and this one is now on my favorites list. Mark Schustrin has a talent for writing children's content and has worked well with the illustrator Cynthia Larenas. Her creations are mesmerizing and colorful and they will capture the attention of any young reader. I hope to see more from Mark soon, as I can't wait to read more of his wonderful stories.
