Caregiving comes from different angles, and although the care starts at the hospital with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers, it eventually transitions to family members who must adapt to the new realities of helping take care of their loved ones. The patients might not give an accurate report of their progress; therefore, it is the role of caregivers to note signs of trouble, such as memory loss or strange behavior, and report them to the doctor. I loved how the book offered a unique perspective and provided hope on a rather depressing subject. The book is highly effective in passing on the intended message, and the real-life examples help connect with the reader on a greater level. The resources provided will go a long way in helping a lot of people, and the easy-to-understand language used makes the book accessible to all kinds of readers. I cannot wait to read something else by these talented authors.
