The Fabulous Life of Minnie the Sassy Chick: Minnie Steals the Show was created by Cindy Shirley and illustrated by Cleoward Sy. Carly and Riley are off to see their neighbor’s new pony. They desperately want one of their own, but they don’t have the room, so seeing Mr. Miller’s pony is the next best thing. They set off with Minnie in a stroller to meet Chica, the pony, but all of a sudden, Minnie jumps on Chica’s back, and off they go on an adventure of their own. Chica was sad because she was in a new home, but Minnie took matters into her own wings, and the two became fast friends. Join the sisters, Minnie, and Chica on their fun adventures on the farm.
The Fabulous Life of Minnie the Sassy Chick by Cindy Shirley is the third in the Sassy Chick series. This is a fun story with some amazing illustrations that tell the story of how Minnie makes friends with a sad pony. It’s a lovely story that keeps children guessing about what Minnie will get up to next, but it’s also got a serious side – the unlikeliest of people (or animals) can produce the deepest of friendships. Animals can teach humans a lot, and this story is about working together and the determination to make things happen. It’s a unique story, very well-written, and a lot of fun, and kids the world over will love it. Highly recommended for the lessons it teaches and the adventures it offers, allowing kids to bring their imaginations to the fore.
