In an excellent new guide for a person considering undergoing psychotherapeutic treatment that includes use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), author Tal Croitoru's book, The EMDR Revolution: Change Your Life One Memory At A Time (The Client's Guide), provides readers with an absolute wealth of information. In this guide written by a very experienced EMDR practitioner, readers will discover just what EMDR is, how it may affect the brains of those utilizing it, especially to overcome trauma, and success stories of those people that this technique has helped. Step by step approaches for every part of the psychotherapy process, from finding a good practitioner to the potential costs of treatment, are covered. This book will definitely give any person considering use of this revolutionary and highly effective treatment all they need to move confidently forward on their path.
I very much enjoyed The EMDR Revolution: Change Your Life One Memory At A Time (The Client's Guide). I felt that author Tal Croitoru was able to give a well paced and well balanced look at what a person can expect before, during, and after treatment with EMDR, and does an excellent job at describing the treatment itself. This book would be an excellent guide for anyone looking for treatment for a condition related to trauma or anxiety, and is not really sure where to begin. I very highly recommend this book, and certainly hope that author Tal Croitoru is continuing with both her efforts in writing as well as her work in the very important field of EMDR treatment.
