What happened to Kyle Gardener? Why was she found dead in her room by her mother, Sharon Gardener, the next day? Why did the police find her dad, Paul Gardener, with blood on his shirt and in his vehicle along with the murder weapon? Did he murder his daughter or is someone close to him setting him up to take the fall? If you love murder mysteries pick up your copy of The Dead Daughter: Lee Callaway Book 1 by Thomas Fincham, one of the books from the Lee Callaway Series. This book is filled with several twists and turns. It's where James Patterson meets Columbo. When you think you've figured out the next step, the author injects another pathway of crime and murder. Who will discover the truth first about the murder; will it be Detectives Holt and Fisher or Private Investigator (PI) Calloway?
I fully enjoyed this murder mystery and had a hard time putting it down. Some murder mysteries can become difficult to follow but not with this book. Thomas Fincham did an excellent job transitioning between each scene as I turned the pages. The Dead Daughter was written like a well-crafted movie. Each page takes the reader into the lives of not only the Gardeners but those involved with them either directly or indirectly, which exposes different types of elements from deception, lies, and hidden family secrets to the real reason as to why Kyla was sacrificed and murdered. Add this book to your library today, you won't be disappointed. If you like stories of murder, mystery, and suspense, check out the others by this author. Highly recommended.
