Adie Sturm is back in Cozumel. The last time she was here was when she had to take a group on the Days Of The Dead tour. Now she is back to be a bridesmaid for her friend Janine. Due to problems with the plane, Adie was late and didn’t make the wedding but was on time for the reception. Going up to retrieve Janine’s garter, she discovers a body in the room. Now what does she do? She has to tell someone. Before she gets a chance, Janine’s husband also finds the body. Now the police get involved.
The Carnaval is going on and its proved to be bigger and better than Mardi Gras. Now there is a killer out there hiding behind the mask of Carnaval. There are several suspects and all of them had a reason to see Dean Firenez dead. Now between Wolf Du Lac and Diego Alvarez can they get Adie out of the fix she is in. Can Diego with all his millions pull some strings and prove Adie did not murder Dean. Seems everyone has an alibi but someone is lying. Which friend is setting her up or could it be one of her lovers?
Anastasia Amor has a way of writing that keeps you wondering just who is the murderer. This is the third book in the Adie Sturm Mystery series. If you have not read the first two, then I highly recommend finding them also. Her books are a little sensual, but an excellent suspense read. I think you will be pleasantly pleased with her books.
The first two books are:
1. A Corpse for Cozumel: An Adie Sturm Mystery
2. Days of the Dead: An Adie Sturm Mystery
