The Brothahood of Kings: Empowering Black Men To Embody Authentic Masculinity by Coach Michael Taylor focuses on empowering Black men to embody authentic masculinity and become leaders in their personal and professional lives. The author draws from his personal experiences and insights to provide practical strategies and tools to overcome challenges and achieve success in all areas of life. It consists of 12 chapters, each of which addresses a specific aspect of Black male empowerment and how it can improve one's life.
The narrative focuses on the history and social context of Black masculinity, including the impact of slavery and systemic racism. Coach Michael Taylor delves into the personal development and growth of Black men, including overcoming limiting beliefs, building self-esteem and confidence, and cultivating healthy relationships. I love how the book covers leadership and success strategies, including entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and building a powerful personal brand. Toni Morrison would have loved this self-love manifesto. Her literature is full of such words of inspiration and I believe Coach Michael Taylor's narrative would truly make her happy.
The Brothahood of Kings is a powerful and inspirational book that encourages Black men to take control of their lives and become the best version of themselves. It is a valuable resource for anyone interested in personal development, Black history and culture, and male empowerment. It will help men to rebuild their lives and give them a fresh start to truly start living.
