The Beauties Bullying Adventure by Barbara Lucas is set in Amor Village. The story begins with Serenity, who gives birth to triplets named Hope, Faith, and Love – collectively known as The Beauties. The locals believe that each child would be magical and special. Sadly, Serenity does not survive the birth and it is up to her mother, Grace, and Ethan to raise the triplets. Each of the triplets inherits an enchanted bracelet from their mother on their ninth birthday and learns that it is their destiny to spread positivity and stop bullies one at a time by using their new superpowers. It is up to The Beauties to make this world a better place for everyone, while understanding that every person is unique and special in their way.
Thank you, Barbara Lucas, for writing The Beauties Bullying Adventure. This book should be available in every home and school library. I especially enjoyed the format, graphics, and easy-to-read language. Each character is well-defined with unique traits. Bullying inflicts deep scars on children, leaving lasting emotional, psychological, and physical effects. It undermines self-esteem, leading to anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. Victims may experience academic difficulties, social isolation, and a diminished sense of belonging. Barbara’s message is important for all children. Addressing bullying is crucial to safeguarding the well-being and future of our children. Stopping bullying requires a collective effort from individuals, communities, and institutions. By speaking up, seeking support, and taking appropriate action, you contribute to creating a safer and more inclusive environment.
