Coffee is addictive and who wouldn't like to savor the flavor and aroma of a good cup of coffee. The Barista is IN by Dairy Martin is a humorous account of how it feels to stand behind the bar in a coffee shop and watch the customers go through the coffee moments. The author's accurate account of encounters and moments with the customers are funny and it exposes you to another world of Baristas. Drinking a cup of foamy delicious coffee in a Barista is not the same as sipping coffee at home. The everyday moments of the author with her customers make it an interesting read.
I would recommend this book to everyone because it is lighthearted and funny and captures the spirit of enjoying the good things in life. It chronicles the daily life of the author. The author's observations standing behind the bar are noteworthy. Nothing gets past her and her interaction with the different types of customers hanging out in the Barista makes it a good read. Small, mundane things can make us happy and the moments we share with people are also vital for a happy and healthy existence. This book will resonate well with many readers because of its original theme.
Every day in the author's life is different and she speaks about the importance of multi-tasking to be more efficient in one's work place. Readers will become knowledgeable about the different types of coffee. Drinking coffee at a Barista will not be the same once you read this book.
