There are times when a guide is necessary to help us choose a career that makes us feel fulfilled. We must make the most of our time, and seek the best opportunities that will allow us to enjoy work and still find time for ourselves. The Adventures of Women in Tech Workbook: A Life-Tested Guide to Building Your Career provides the information necessary to achieve this. The book divides the tips into categories and adds activities at the end of each section so that we can evaluate and improve. Alana Karen and Marily Nika use action-oriented advice to address work challenges. They teach us to understand that failure is okay if we can learn from it and use the experience to grow.
I admire the great teamwork. The wisdom of several women is assembled in this book and the result is useful content for those who wish to advance their careers. The Adventures of Women in Tech Workbook is practical because it is based on experience. The collection of lessons that other people learned demonstrates that we can overcome obstacles. Alana Karen and Marily Nika explain that success not only revolves around hard work but we must also have focus and dedication. They encourage us to express ourselves freely. I found the activities to be useful because they allow us to set new goals based on what we have learned and what we desire. We must allow ourselves to realize our dreams.
