A habit is a routine practice that will not necessarily have a negative connotation. There are positive habits that can help us in our daily lives. The 7-Day Self Discipline Blueprint: Habit Stacking for Beginners demonstrates how small but continual efforts make a change in the long term. Logan Hawkins has developed a series of activities for the reader to apply to a different aspect each day of the week. He provides techniques and strategies according to the needs of each individual. The changes vary from making small adjustments of just a few minutes daily to completing larger tasks or resolving personal issues. He also uses a model known as SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound). By applying this, Hawkins demonstrates that with the right mindset and proper encouragement, we can achieve great goals.

Logan Hawkins reminds readers that we are creatures of habit, but there is always room for improvement. The important thing is to eliminate bad habits to thrive. We do this by learning to avoid our mistakes. He explores these issues in a relevant and practical manner. He encourages us to practice self-discipline and, at the same time, reminds us of the need to have the right motivation. I appreciated his interest in helping others because apart from explaining the system in detail, he adds information that includes a section listing nine healthy habits that can save your life. I found that section interesting because the tips are ideal for people who work in an office, have an active day, or suffer from stress.
