A young boy named Levi loved fall and wanted to create a potion to remind him of his favorite things long after the season ended. Determining what to put into the potion presented a dilemma, but not for long. Levi went on a scavenger hunt and gathered the things he loved. Pieces of leaves, smells he enjoyed, and all the things that made the season magical for him. Can you capture the magic and put it in a potion? Levi will try in Thank Fall: A Mindful Story Celebrating the Magic of Autumn written by Ciara L. Hill and illustrated by Agia Putri. When he can’t find the missing ingredient, he talks to his mom and dad to see if they can help him figure it out. Will he find the missing ingredient before the season ends?
Thank Fall is a charming story that shows the excitement of a child in his enjoyment of something he finds magical and his enthusiasm while trying to find a way to make the magic last. Ciara L. Hill’s story is sweet and tender. A young boy seeking to keep something precious to him is encouraging, and his relationship with his parents and their support is a good life picture. The illustrations by Agia Putri take the story to another level. The beautiful artwork helps the young reader visualize everything the author is saying. This is a delightful book for children and their parents. Ciara L. Hill and Agia Putri have created something magical.
