In Tales of the Rhadamantha by A.J. Kohler, only love and magic can save the day. Amaranna gets kidnapped by Kallendor, the evil wizard who increases his power by imprisoning and manipulating any green-haired Rhadamantha like her until they consent to lose their virginity to him. Amaranna plans to escape by using her magic to transport a man she feels strongly attracted to from another world to her cell. However, it is only the start of the war against Kallendor and all the wizards that plan to have her. Will her magic and the otherworldly knowledge of the man she chooses be enough to save her and will he get the hint that she wants him to be more than just a bodyguard?
Picture a war between magicians and wizards who can create anything from the imagination. I enjoyed every electric and suspenseful page in Tales of the Rhadamantha. It is a perfect recommendation for readers that enjoy sizzling romance, a perilous adventure, and tales of boundless magic. My favorite aspect is the brilliant mix of an ancient, magical world and a modern, technologically advanced world. I've always fantasized about how godlike a modern man would seem in primitive times; A.J. Kohler gives a vivid description of this scenario, and it is everything I hoped for and even more. The amazing character development, timely shifts in perspectives, and sustained tone and mood of the story all helped in delivering a pleasant reading experience. I loved Tales of the Rhadamantha: Vol. 1 Amaranna, and I am very eager to read the second book in the series.
