Discover the English alphabet in the funny children's picture book, T Is For Toot by Stinky McToots. Allow Mr. Stinky McToots to take you on a smelly journey through the human body as he explores what happens to certain foods once consumed. A 'number One Best-Smelling' book, this picture book helps the young reader find enjoyment in a rather boring subject, the ABCs. Warning: this book is not for the faint of heart! A may be for apple, but it's also a fibrous fruit. When you eat apple sauce, it may create a much stronger toot. B is for Burp, gas from the mouth. If you want to know what happens, don't look to the south. Do you dare read along with Mr. McToots? Will you make it to the end?
T Is For Toot by Stinky McToots is a humorous picture book that encourages children to learn how to recognize the letters of the alphabet with unconventional stinky rhymes. I admit that when I started the book, my first impression was a small amount of horror. Once I let go of some of my inhibitions, I realized that this book could benefit children that struggle with letter recognition and reading; especially those that find gas, and gross bodily functions comical. This storybook could be a lifesaver to the parents of kids that, like my four-year-old son, believe that the ABC song is boring and for babies. While a little crude, the book is educational. Another wonderful aspect is that aside from teaching the letters, it also teaches rudimentary lessons in science. I recommend this book to children ages 4-7.
