The Missing Manners (The Suzi and Sally Series) by Angi Brown and Cali Byram relates the story of Suzi and Sally, whose mother told them during lunch that their manners were missing. Outside in their tree house, they take their time machine on a trip to the past to find out where they might have lost these manners. They break a toy that belongs to a couple of T. Rex dinosaurs and offer to help them fix it. Suzi and Sally follow the dinosaurs into a dangerous area that has the bones they need to repair the toy they broke. Will the girls be able to fix the toy? Will they be able to find their manners and will they get stuck in prehistoric times because of mischievous dinosaurs?
The Missing Manners by Angi Brown and Cali Byram is an adorable children’s story about two little girls who lost their manners at lunch and go looking for them in their time machine. The images by Blueberry Illustrations are beautiful and complement the story in a manner that children will enjoy. I loved the way the authors indulge a child’s imagination with time machines and dinosaurs with personalities that they can relate to. This picture book is great for any young reader learning how important it is to mind their manners and be polite. This story will be one that children will want to read many times over, and I can’t wait to see what these talented authors come up with for the next book in the Suzi and Sally Series.
