One thing Blake knows about himself is that he is a Super Hero. Blake never thinks he is better than anyone else; he just knows he has choices to make each day, and he tries to make the right ones. One big choice Blake’s mom taught him to make each day is to always brush his teeth at least twice a day. If he doesn’t make the right choices and brush his teeth like mom says, the cavity monster and his evil sidekick monsters will attack; and Blake sure doesn’t want that to happen. Going to the dentist would not be fun if these monsters attack.

What great creative ideas the author, Tracy Bickhaus, brings in this book about the importance of making the right choices to brush your teeth. The front cover with Super Blake, the over-sized toothbrush and Cavity Monster in the background will immediately capture the young readers interest. The book is well written, well organized and illustrated to make it easy to read and understand. I can’t say enough about the illustrations with the Superman type theme and the adorable faces on the characters. After reading this book, young readers will want to take off to the dentist to find out how they can take better care of their teeth.
I recommend this adorable book to all children. Every home library, public and school library needs a copy of this book to teach this important choice to each child.
