Stories For My Grandkids: Moral Lessons for Kids to Use Throughout Life is a collection of eight short stories by James Dixon. Having a screwdriver permanently stuck in your head will attract attention as it did for Annette Dixon, but it also proved beneficial in other ways in The Legend of Aunty Annie. The strongest and toughest aren’t necessarily the ones that are big in stature as proven in Tough Guys I Have Known. Some students are Eppa Dermal Dental graduates (by the skin of your teeth) so you’ll have to attend your high school reunion to find out what happened to Billy, Bobby, and Not-So Sharp. In Where the Smart People Live, you never judge a book by its cover because some of the smartest people are very unassuming in looks and personalities.
James Dixon wrote this entertaining collection of short stories for his grandchildren. They provide important lessons involving family, friends, and events that occurred throughout his life. He intended to teach his grandchildren to be respectful and considerate of others regardless of who they are, their handicaps, or their status in society. He also wants them to overcome any obstacles and challenges that they may have and be proud of who they are, without any insecurities. I agree with the author and believe his grandchildren will adore him even more for the life lessons he has shared with them. Stories For My Grandkids is a meaningful collection of tales that adults will also find interesting.
