I love how the story cuts between the perspectives of Vanysha, Kieran, and several other characters, including the villains; it makes the book well-rounded, even without revealing the identities of the villains while building suspense. It was fun trying to figure out who was after Kieran and trying to impede the peace negotiations between Westran Alpha and Hexaka. I loved that the culprits weren’t the obvious choice, and I was pleasantly surprised after I found out who they were. I admired Vanysha as a character, and she was my favorite. I thought she was very strong after overcoming all she went through. Tessa McFionn gives you a splendid mix of romance, suspense, and fantasy in Star-Crossed Negotiations.
