Written for a layperson, Dr. Schattner draws upon 30 years of experience as a scientist and physicist to carefully describe proteins, DNA, RNA, amino acids, hormones, chromosomes, genes, inheritance, epigenetics, DNA ownership, genetic variants, and the role that nature and family play to influence who we become. As links to our past and future, molecular biology can answer fundamental questions and explain our behaviors and emotions.
