Is there such a thing as ‘The American Dream’ anymore? What is happening to the middle class? These and plenty of other questions are addressed in Serfing America: The Progressive Destruction of the American Dream by Sue Ann Thielke and Roger Ball. In clear and frightening detail, Thielke and Ball explain the changes brought about by Progressives as political action affects more and more of our daily life in terms of jobs, banking, laws, society and the course for the future. There is an amazing disconnect between the intentions of our Founding Fathers and the beliefs and actions of those who are in charge today. The question is why have ‘we’ let the country go in the direction it seems to be heading? Without reservation, this book calls for a return to Judeo-Christian values and putting a stop to the complete homogenization of attitudes so that no one’s feelings ever get hurt. It is clear that in trying to placate the many diverse factions in this country, as well as around the world, we have made it virtually impossible for the traditional American middle class to survive, let alone succeed.
In straight forward language with countless footnoted facts, Serfing America: The Progressive Destruction of the American Dream by Sue Ann Thielke and Roger Ball warns of the ultimate collapse of our society under the all-encompassing influence of Big Government and global uniformity. If Americans don’t want to end up struggling to survive individually, Thielke and Ball call for decisive action to re-establish a government run by dedicated servants to the people instead of self-preserving career bureaucrats whose first duty has become their own power and position.
