Seraphina's Dream Adventure is a children's picture book written by S. J. B. Worthington and illustrated by N. Wathsala. The book narrates the tale of Seraphina, a lovely woman who takes pleasure in dreaming and yearns for a brighter future for herself and her loved ones. Her vivid imagination brings her joy as she envisions lifeless objects such as her pencils and clock coming to life to crack jokes and complain about time. One day, she discovers a magical flute in her house and is amazed when it transforms into a mythical dragon when she played it. In gratitude, the dragon grants Seraphina sixteen wishes, which she uses to improve her life and that of her loved ones. She selflessly wishes to help the homeless and those living in poverty, and her actions improve the well-being of many people in her family and community.
Seraphina’s Dream Adventure is one of the most magical books I have ever read. The beautiful artwork perfectly complements the story, and its glittery elements blend seamlessly with the colors, bringing the book to life. Besides its amazing art, the book also has a profound message with the potential to transform people's lives. It encourages readers to strive for more and help the vulnerable in our society. S. J. B. Worthington introduces us to a cast of adorable characters who are friendly and easy to fall in love with. Seraphina is a relatable character who wishes for a better job that offers financial security and dreams of a comfortable future. Many readers will resonate with her situation and root for her and her dreams. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and hope more people read and appreciate its message and beauty.
