Rylie's New Bike by Mrs RyAnn Adams Hall is the charming story of Rylie who has outgrown her old bike. Her momma decides to get a new one as a birthday gift. On the day of her birthday, her dad goes to Wal-Mart and buys the perfect bike for Rylie. He also gets knee and elbow pads to keep her safe. The bike is pink and purple and her dad knows that she will surely love the bike. Rylie's birthday party goes off well and she loves all the gifts she received, but her favorite gift is the new bike.
Children will love the story. The book will make a good bedtime storybook and parents and grandparents can read it out to their kids and grandkids. It's also good for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries. The story is simple and warm. The illustrations are bright and colorful and they give life to the characters and movement to the scenes. Though there is no message or concept in this story, it's a story that children who love biking will enjoy reading. It will bring back a lot of memories to all readers of the time when they got their first bike. They will be able to connect with Rylie's emotions when she gets her bike.
It's a beautiful storybook that will make kids feel good when they read it. The author is descriptive in her narration, which makes it easy for kids to visualize the scenes.
