Kate and Jack planned to relax with some old friends when they fled Kenya, but life and Rosa Linda have some very different plans for them. They’re barely in Texas for more than a few hours before Kate finds herself embroiled in something far bigger than she could ever imagine. What starts out as a case of potential animal abuse turns into something more when it begins to involve poisonings, blackmail, theft and murder. But even that isn’t all of what Rosa Linda and her new fiancé are up to. There’s even more going on than anyone knows and it just might take too long for them to put those pieces together in Run Dog Run.

If you’re looking for action and adventure, then you’re definitely in the right place. Run Dog Run by Kathleen Kaska is all about never giving up, fighting for what you believe in, and not being afraid of anything. Kate is strong-willed and determined to do the right thing, no matter what, which is what makes her a character that you want to follow. You never know what she’s going to do next or what’s going to happen to her next, which keeps you turning pages. Nothing is as it seems in this book and you’ll be wondering each time you turn the page whether someone else is going to be a suspect or a victim, or what the criminals are going to stoop to next. After all, the only thing that you do know is nothing is off limits to whoever is behind it all.
