Espionage, murder, deception: many things that Jason Bourne has had to deal with all his adult life. His mission now is the hardest he has had: he has to try to save the United States' precious natural resources. In his mission to protect those resources Bourne comes up against opposition, deception, and murder. He doesn't know who to trust or who is truly a friend. But Jason is plagued by disturbing dreams ... a beautiful blue eyed blonde woman he is sent to kill ... but why? Is she connected in any way with this mission? This mission takes Bourne all around the world from Columbia, Germany and Spain to Syria, tracking and eliminating the people or governments, or both, that are trying to profit from the U.S.'s precious resources. Bourne meets with a couple who at last may be the key to his mission being successful, but the woman has Bourne wondering who she really is. Something isn't right.
"The Bourne Dominion" is a very fast-paced, action-filled story with many twists and turns. The story goes from one scenario to another; from one problem to another; from one place to another. "The Bourne Dominion" is a thriller. It was very entertaining but I don't think the author developed the characters as much as he could have, including Bourne. During the story you lose a bit of the original mission, and by the end there isn't much mention of the outcome of that mission. In general I enjoyed reading "The Bourne Dominion".
