Revenge of America's Unemployed by Richard S. Sloan gives us a more realistic and truer look at how Donald Trump was able to snatch the presidency away from a much more competent and better candidate. The reason behind it is so simple that many of us did not even consider it at first. The unemployed were looking for a reason or some way out of their depressed lives, and looking for some hope for a better and brighter future. I had no idea that things were so bad.
Because of the great recession, 30 million or maybe more are unemployed, and the unemployment rate is even worse for the rest of the world. This is the one thing that made the voters vulnerable and this is the reason why Donald Trump was able to sway people and make them vote for him. This is one of the main reasons why Trump was able to become president; however, there were some other contributing factors too that aided his win.
Richard S. Sloan is not just writing his thoughts; he did his research and made sure that he had backing for every claim. Another thing that I really admired about the way Sloan wrote this book is that he is not being vindictive or abusive. He is writing his thoughts and what he thinks is right. At the same time, he is being respectful to everyone who will read this book. Even Trump supporters would not find anything offensive in this book. Very well-written, constructed and eloquent, So, a job very well done, Richard S. Sloan!
