Henry Gagne begins his book with the question “Is there a God?” and allows scripture to answer the question. He continues with the question of “Is the Bible truly the inspired Word of God or is it just the writings of ancient men.” Again he allows scripture to speak for itself. Gagne shines light on what he proposes to be false teachings in the church, they include: the temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, all Israel will be saved (Jewish Nation) and the anti-Christ and false prophet are to be two coming super individuals whom the world will follow. I found the last one of particular interest. Gagne suggests the anti-Christ refers to many men. He also presents a chapter on The Land Covenant Given to Israel. Which prophecies have been fulfilled and which are yet to be fulfilled is addressed.
A Short History of the United States is a very important chapter in this book. Gagne states “The “separation of church and state” has never been and is not now a part of the Constitution of the United States. It is a myth that has been brought into that Constitution by others, because of Thomas Jefferson’s letter.”
This book covers Genesis to Revelation. The author discusses numerous topics many I’ve already mentioned, a few others are hell, death, and the rapture. Henry Gagne writes in an easy to understand style. This book is comprehensive with over 700 pages. He allows the Bible to interpret the Bible. Some will find this book controversial others will find it eye opening.
