Grace Bishop and her brother Danny are late for a book signing when Danny remembers he left important papers behind. While quarreling, Grace and Danny become the victims of a car accident. The last thing Danny remembers before waking up in a cold dark room is the front of the truck speeding towards him. When he gains consciousness again, Danny is alone and is plagued by visions of Grace killing herself over and over again. Because of the accident, Grace is riddled with guilt and doesn't want to live. Danny is in a quandary; should he move on? Or should he stay as a ghost and help his sister work through her grief and guilt.
