Render Me Bountiful is a collection of inspiring poetry by Pamela K. Yarborough. It is divided into Rhapsody, Stars and Dust, and Labyrinth. I find the poem Butterfly particularly uplifting, celebrating one of the wonders of nature as follows, "Tall Ivory towers, meteorite showers/ Amazed at the powers of the/ magical butterfly." The poem contrasts tall ivory towers and meteorite showers and then uses the butterfly to symbolize freedom and joy. The lines provide a beautiful and gentle reminder of the beauty of nature. The Last Poem, on the other hand, reveals the spirit of love and is a touching reminder of the power of love as it continues to inspire writers to wax poetic about intense feelings of passion, longing, and heartbreak.

Pamela K. Yarborough’s Render Me Bountiful is a beautifully written collection of poetry that celebrates human emotions and nature in simple yet evocative language. The poems offer vivid imagery and a rhythmic pattern that captures your attention. Yarborough’s poetry should help you appreciate your experiences as it captures the spirit of life’s journey in the poem Hearts Forever Young as follows; "Each coming but still uncertain day, her/Hearts play on a song yet to be sung, a song/ Played only for hearts that are forever young." Here, she encourages us that life is not just a passing of time but an exciting journey that has to be lived. Ultimately, the poems will leave a lasting impression on those looking for a deep awareness of the human experience.

Pamela Yarborough captures the essence of poetry with the line, “I listen with my heart.” The poems in Render Me Bountiful: A Collection of Poetry are published posthumously by Pamela’s twin sister, Patricia Yarborough. As you read these poems, you begin to know Pamela and understand her heart. It is a work of love, and Patricia honors her late sister by sharing her poetry with the world. The seasons of life are also seen through the seasons of love. True love lasts, while the feeling of love may be fleeting. Love is often expressed in lyrical lines, while pain is always best presented in lyrics. Poetry speaks its particular language and reaches deep into one’s soul. If you desire to ponder the meaning of life, this collection will give you insights. Take your time to enjoy those that resonate with your heart.

Pamela Yarborough lived a full and fruitful life. Part of the fruit of her life is shared in Render Me Bountiful. Although Pamela is no longer here, her sister has ensured that her words will not be forgotten. Patricia found these poems after Pamela’s death. Each poem is a little window into Pamela’s soul. She wrote from her heart and shared her desires, successes, and disappointments. The still waters of Pamela’s heart run deep. Take your time as you read to ponder each line's facets. There is so much more than meets the eye. As with all good poetry, there is more behind the lines. So, curl up with this collection and enjoy the imagery and thought processes.

Patricia Yarborough gifts poetry lovers with beautifully penned verses from her late sister, Pamela K. Yarborough, through this mesmerizing collection of poems in Render Me Bountiful. The collection covers a diverse spectrum of topics related to life, nature, and humanity in general. Divided into three sections, Rhapsody, Stars and Dust, and Labyrinth, it takes you on a journey of self-discovery in all its forms. Memories is a nostalgic ode to a lost era. Goodbye To Summer is about bidding adieu to the past and welcoming the future with hope and wonder. The section, Stars and Dust, contains both short and long verse poems that reflect the inner contemplations of the author's desire to love and to be loved. Finally, in Labyrinth, the poem Things Will Become Clearer speaks about losing one's way and finding the way back to a place of familiarity.

Apart from making you ponder nature, love, and life, Render Me Bountiful by Pamela K. Yarborough touches on relevant social issues, such as racism, bigotry, poverty, inequity, and more. Published and presented by her sister, Patricia Yarborough, this riveting collection inspires you to hope and to work toward a better tomorrow. Pamela's free-flowing verses strike a chord in your soul, helping you attain a deeper appreciation for nature and to be grateful for the world and life God has gifted you. I thoroughly enjoyed the lyrical brilliance of Pamela Yarborough, and if you're someone who loves to read poetry, you will too. Highly recommended.

Life is beautiful, isn’t it? “Here the stars heighten/ My awareness that I’m/ A living being/ And that beauty is so freeing.” Render Me Bountiful: A Collection of Poetry by Pamela K. Yarborough tells us that there are a lot of beautiful things both in this world and in our lives. It’s not always easy to live as we wish, to understand why things happen as they do, but with faith and a beautiful heart, we can find that inner solace in a world that hasn’t gone all that mad. “And me? I’m just waiting for the day when/ The world will stay one beating heart/ One illumined mind.” We’re not all the same. We all look different, think differently, and believe differently. One thing about all of us is the same: we’re all beautiful and illumined.

Pamela K. Yarborough’s book of poetry, Render Me Bountiful, is quite simply sublime. The collection was put together by the poet’s sister, Patricia, in acknowledgment of a beautiful heart and soul and it begins with a heartfelt tribute. Written in free verse, the poet has captured life at its most beautiful and serene. The quiet lyricism of each verse reveals a deeper sense of the poet’s soul and understanding of what it means to be alive. “My heart is my voice/ It cries out loud in/ A crowd hearing not a sound.” The poet reveals life’s beauty, but she also teaches us to believe in ourselves, to accept ourselves as well as others, and to have faith in our maker. There is much to learn from these poems, but there is also a greater sense of solace as one follows the themes, grouped into three sections: Rhapsody, Stars and Dust, and Labyrinth. These are poems to be appreciated, studied deeply, and enjoyed many times over.

Render Me Bountiful is a collection of poetry by Pamela K. Yarborough and includes short rhythmic poems about the various transitions we experience throughout our lifetime, including love, family, celebrations during holidays, the times shared, and the memories we have of the changing seasons. The collection is a beautiful tribute to the life lived by Pamela Yarborough as well as a tribute to the human experience.

Pamela K. Yarborough's Render Me Bountiful is an absorbing, impassioned, and introspective collection of poems. The short and eloquently written prose gives a peek into Pamela's life but also covers topics that every individual experiences throughout life, including the myriad of times we fall in and out of love, the role of one's mother and her undying love. The collection captures the beauty and complexity of our different seasons throughout life. Despite covering deep and emotional topics, the poems are fresh, light, and relatable. My favorites are The Sloping Tree, Impressions, Summer in June, Hours in a Day, Just Fine, Makin’ Time, and For My Mother. It will make a beautiful gift for anyone at any stage in life.
