This is quite an amazing story. A grandfather does not his grandson to go through life never knowing about his grandmother who died early in life. Through imagination or dreams the grandfather was able to transcend time with his grandson. He boy met his grandmother, great grandmother, uncle, and his grandfather as a child. The pair traveled through time using astral and a crystal sphere. At times things seem a bit fuzzy but as he remembers they become clearer. All of the visits have left their stamp on his life and will be remembered by the boy as he grows. He will never forget.
This book made me think. Does the grandfather possess some type of magical powers that allow him to travel spiritually back in time. I’ve heard that what goes on in your mind as a child can be retained for ages. One thing is for sure, this small book shows the love that the grandfather has for his grandson. I quite enjoyed the book. It made me stop and think about the memories that I want to share with my grandchild to remember.
This book came at a perfect time. Three of our grandchildren had birthdays this week. I searched for the perfect gifts but couldn’t decide what to give them. Then it hit me...I would give them me. I took them out to eat, to get ice cream and to a movie. Oh I could have given them a toy but they would have soon forgotten who gave it to them. Memories or different. Today we made memories. I know the memory of this day will long stay with me and I hope it will with Zach, Jake, Jack and Maddix.
This book has a great plot and characters. It is easy to recommend this book to others.
