Reigning The Future by Dennis Wang gives a fresh viewpoint about US-China relations, navigating the changing world, and tackling some of the complex international puzzles. China is emerging as an international leader in technology along with the United States but there is conflict with China, especially in areas of advanced technology and finance. The book gives many new insights about the technological rivalry between the United States and China and it is not just limited to AI, 5G, or big data but fields of technology not yet envisioned.
The book is divided into two parts; the first part gives readers information about the historical relationship between China and the USA. The second part analyzes China's technology industry and game-changing innovations of the 21st century. The author speaks about the topic extensively and in depth and readers are made aware of China's increasing prominence. They will understand that the conflicts between China and the USA are largely invisible due to the taboo of warfare and nuclear deterrence but have been spiraling ever since Donald Trump became the President of the United States.
