Probiotics for Women’s Health by Temmy Miller is subtitled A Practical Guide for Women to the Benefits of Probiotics with the Best Recipes for Good Health, Anti-inflammatory, Gut Health, Disease Prevention, and Better Longevity. As the title indicates, Temmy sets out compelling study findings about the benefits of probiotics, such as their positive effects on mental health. She goes on to explain gut health and unhealthy gut symptoms to look out for, such as insatiable sugar cravings. Better still, she provides us with easy, delicious, and healthy probiotic drink and food recipes. Not only does she review the medical facts, but offers healthy recipes to back up her advice.
Temmy Miller’s book is invaluable if you have ever considered probiotics as part of your diet, or if you’ve stumbled upon the book and don’t even know what probiotics are. Temmy gives succinct and easy-to-understand descriptions and provides important facts and study findings without being overwhelming. This book underlines the proven benefits of probiotics, as well as highlighting potential signs we need to look out for in diagnosing an unhealthy gut. As I read more of the book, so many things started to make sense. I was experiencing almost all of the side effects of not having a healthy microbiome, and in this respect, Temmy’s book was made for me. I’m looking forward to making a healthy homemade root beer, as well as everyone’s COVID-19 lockdown favorite – sourdough bread. Probiotics for Women’s Health is a great read for any woman looking to change her life simply and realistically, with the help of probiotics.
