Princess Madeline and the Dragon (Princess Madeline Series) by Kirstin Pulioff is the last book in the Madeline series. Like the previous two Madeline books, the author has written a fantasy story filled with adventure and magic. The author has added everything that makes it whimsical and magical - dragons, a kingdom, heroes, mystery, dungeons, soldiers, a prince and princess. This book revolves around Madeline, her wedding, and the efforts of the Prince and Princess to save the Kingdom. Madeline is looking forward to getting married and it is a time for celebration, joy, and peace. But she realizes that peace is short-lived as the Kingdom faces threats. The Prince and Princess are left with the task of saving the Kingdom. The mystery element is added by a secret message the Princess receives from her late mother which helps the Princess. Will the Kingdom of Soron, which is the scene of battle and drama, echo with peace and joy? Will Prince Braden and Princess Madeline restore the happiness that prevailed in the Kingdom back to the people?
The book is an exciting finale to the trilogy series. As a collection, these books can be keepers for book lovers and libraries because all three stories are filled with adventure and a certain amount of intrigue and suspense that keep readers hooked. Fantasy-based themes always motivate readers to think on a creative and imaginary plane. These stories contain whimsical names and lands which appeal to the reading public, especially children.
