In Pieces of Our Lives by James Coulter and Suzanne Coulter Roberts, the authors recount the memories of some of their greatest and some of their hardest times as they grow and learn life’s lessons. From the straightforward nature of their grandma and grandpa to living life as a college student, there are lots of fun stories that any reader can laugh about and sad ones as well. Every single memory is well worth the read because the bond of the loving family in Pieces of Our Lives is what makes the good times awesome and the worst times bearable. The stories in this autobiography relate just how important family is and how the memories James and Suzanne have shared shaped who they have become.
Pieces of Our Lives by James Coulter and Suzanne Coulter Roberts is a wonderful autobiography put together by the authors to share their memories - the good, the bad and the heartbreaking. I love how the authors wrote about the people in question so vividly that the reader feels like they are right there with them. Pieces of Our Lives is the kind of autobiography that shows the love and strength of family, even in their darkest hours. Some of the stories had me laughing while stories like the tragedy that befell Bob broke my heart. Either way, I am grateful to have walked down ‘memory lane’ with James and Suzanne. I recommend Pieces of Our Lives to anyone who enjoys the honesty and complexity of real life through memories.
